A need for this Skyline r31 Wagon. Because it’s just way to sick.
And just imagine it making lots RB noises and of blow off flutters.

I assume you mean “way too dick”

It does looks silly. But like a good silly. And if it could 2 step and shoot flames no one would make fun of your wing

Yes I’lol take both.
On an unrelated note can you fit a 2jz in a 4Runner?

That is very cool. I’d lose the wing and the gauges. But even so

Ooh. Fun story. A local coffee shop I frequent supplies many other shops with roasted beans, and one evening I leave and see a 2nd-gen 4Runner outside looking much like this:
I see the intercooler and am like, “bwoah, what’s that?”
I see the owner is loading bags of coffee beans in the back, so I ask about the truck. Turns out, that’s a 2JZ-GTE under* the hood. Local mom & pop coffee shop that was starting up and they were using their project rig for supply runs.
When I asked the owner how fast it was, she said “It’s way too fast for just about anything it’s supposed to do as a 4Runner.” They were planning to take out the 2JZ for another project and swap in a 1UZ instead later.
I regret that I forgot to ask what their coffee shop was called. I’m really curious as to how the build went.
*to say the 2JZ fit “under” the hood would be an overstatement. The intercooler stuck out pretty far and the hood was cut like the one pictured too. The chassis really isn’t long enough for an inline-six of that size.

The dash mounted fan on the other hand.

I’d have to see a lifted Skyline or a lowered 4Runner to be sure, but pretty sure they’re the exact the same car.

The only thing better than this would be a mashup 3-door shooting brake.
Oh, and I would lose the cage, giant tach, and fan... this needs to be a road car, not a dragster...
And I would put Mitsubishi Starion style 5-bolt wheels on it.

Both fan and the tach. Sweet car, but I’d rip out those two things before you can say “I like OEM”.

This could made out of any Nissan parts as such sporty wagon wasn’t made. But the front end is in R30 style. R31 used wide r head lights. The decals hint that it would be based on the RS-X model (which was originally only available as a co upe). The RS-X wa s powe red by a four cylinder FJ20ET. The RB engines did appear when R31 was introduced but only the two top models (GTS-R and GTS Autech) had more power than the RS-X (151 vs 157 kW) .

I figured it wasn’t an OEM configuration. That’s why I’m imaging that it also has a more modern drivetrain.
And also I no nothing about r31-30s other than they look cool.

They are rare. I don’t remember ever seeing one. They were imported to Europe but Finland didn’t get any S kylines (and they were never called Skylines in Europe ) after C210 went out of production. R32, R33 and R34 mod els have been imported in small numbers by the local enthusiasts but the earlier ones haven’t managed to find their way to Finland .
